Bushmans is a wholly Australian-owned and operated company specialising in water tanks and storage solutions for household, agricultural, and commercial use and a comprehensive range of storage solutions for various industrial applications.
Challenge
Bushmans required a lifting solution to safely load and offload large water tanks from a low-bed truck without the need for cranes, overly heavy lifting machinery or the lifting capabilities installed on the transport vehicle.
Given their experience with industrial lifting bags, Bushmans contacted the Giant Inflatables Industrial (GII) engineering team for a solution.
Inflatable Water Tank Lifting Bag
The team at GII designed an inflatable lifting bag in the form of a wedge.
The operator enables the tanks to tilt by inflating the lifting bag to an angle where the tank can slide off the flatbed.
They can maintain a safe lifting environment because the tank is secured snugly throughout the transfer.
