WestPoint Warehouse and Distribution has been in operation since 1997. With seven acres of light industrial land licensed to handle dangerous goods, Westpoint can carry a full range of products at our storage centre, offering companies flexibility whilst reducing their on-site hazard and compliance costs.
Any liquid, hazardous or seemingly harmless, has the potential to pollute the environment and harm human health.
When contaminants are released into the environment, it can lead to the loss of plant and animal life, cause various diseases to spread within human populations and reduce the quality of the environment.
Storm Drain Environmental Protection System
As specialists in the warehousing and distribution of dangerous goods, protecting the environment is paramount to Westpoint. They contacted the designers at Giant Inflatables Industrial to install the Storm Drain Environmental Protection System to enhance their already robust environmental safety program further.
Once installed, the team at Giant Inflatables Industrial instructed the safety team from Westpoint how to use the system and implemented the plug deployment procedure as part of their emergency action protocol if there was a chemical spill.
