The Portable Blasting Shelter
Giant Inflatables Industrial produced a portable blasting shelter explicitly designed for Linkforce’s shutdown maintenance needs. The 10m x 8m inflatable structure offers 54 square metres of usable space and a six-metre ceiling, allowing for safe and efficient abrasive blasting operations. The shelter features 3-metre-high blast protection screens, dust trays, and a blast media extraction and collection system.
The design includes emergency exits, reinforced duct ports, air vents, and welded waterproof windows to create a durable and safe working environment. A crane-lifting lug enables precise positioning of the shelter over equipment, while the portable and modular design ensures quick deployment. These features provide a practical and efficient alternative to traditional scaffolding or permanent structures.
