Portable Pipeline Shelter
Canline Pipeline Solutions approached Giant Inflatables Industrial with a need for a custom portable shelter designed to protect their Megamc 2065 McElroy fusing machine and crew from harsh weather conditions across North America. The requirements included a 20-foot-long (6.1 m), 17-foot-wide (5.2 m), and 14-foot-high (4.3 m) inflatable shelter with pipe cowling end walls capable of accommodating pipes from 12″ (30.5 cm) to 63″ (160 cm).
Giant Inflatables Industrial delivered a fully customised solution featuring dual openable ends with 10′ x 10′ (3 m x 3 m) access points, Velcro-tabbed man-door openings, and heat-proof exhaust and heater duct ports. The structure incorporated extra perimeter reinforcement, internal tie-downs, and adjustable pipe cowlings for maximum versatility. The red-and-white shelter, branded with the Canline logo, combined portability with durability, offering an effective and visually appealing solution for pipeline operations.
