Mike Carney Toyota, a leading automotive dealership and sponsor of the Mike Carney Racing Team, sought a versatile, portable shelter to support their team during races across Australia. They required a robust, weather-resistant workspace with ample room for an Iveco Van, allowing maintenance, repairs, and team coordination in an enclosed, controlled environment. Mike Carney Toyota approached Giant Inflatables Industrial to develop a solution combining industrial strength and easy mobility.
Design and Fabrication
Giant Inflatables Industrial designed a custom Inflatable Pit Stop Shelter covering approximately 63 square metres (7000 mm in internal length, 7650 mm in width, and 4850 mm in height). The portable shelter’s spacious interior and drive-through configuration enabled the team to perform vehicle servicing seamlessly, with dedicated areas for tools, supplies, and workspace customisation.
Constructed from industrial-grade materials, the inflatable portable shelter withstands rugged conditions, making it suitable for various trades. It can be set up by a small team in minutes and is easily stored, compressing to just 1.2 square metres for transport. This efficient, portable design demonstrates Giant Inflatables Industrial’s commitment to providing high-quality, adaptable shelter solutions tailored to industrial and automotive needs.
